Hi,
Thanks very much for your help. I am asking the person who has got one
(we live on different continents) to perform the tests you list at your
excellent site.
He asks how he can test the bell. He has heard it ring but is not quite
sure how to make it ring and when it should ring. I wondered if you
could let me know this arcane secret! :-)
